This amp sounds very dark. Not a bad this but just a voicing thing. The amp is much more darker than a Marshall and will give you a silky smooth tone that will fit very well in the band mix.

I like this amp with any nice guitar. This amp with a solid Gibson Les Paul or a Fender Strat is remarkable. Used it with a Line 6 Dl4 and a Ibanez Ts9 and you'll have some great tones. The distortion channels are not that great with these amps. I would recommend a Fullton OCD, a Suhr Riot, or an Ibanez TS9 with this amp. You need to get a good pedal with this amp if you want and kind of grind. That has been the biggest downfall to these amps since their inception.

These are great amps to play with but this particular one with the Texas Red tolex is also great to look at as well. This makes this amp just stand out on stage. The red is extremely appealing.

I would recommend this amp to anyone who wants a change from the standard black. This is a great amp and will serve it's owner quite well. I am not sure what the going rate is for these amps but they should be too much different than the black ones.
