The Tascam TG-7 is a tuner, metronome, and pitch pipe (tone generator), all in one convenient, versaitile package. It is small, yet it has both a 1/4 inch output and input, perfect for guitar rigs. It also has a built in microphone, for tuning any acoustic instruments. There are several tuning modes: Guitar, Bass, Chromatic, Drop...
Overall, this is a versatile, portable audio interface that can be useful for many different applications. It may be a bit dated, but if you can find a good deal on this unit used, and you own an older operating system, this interface may be perfect. I owned this interface for several years, and it has served me well.
I've had this recorder for 2 weeks (took me a while find time to play with it) I didn't bother reading the manual a friend was nice enough to show me how to operate it. The recording I did was an outside recording. The birds were chirping, people were talking, cars where driving and honking their horns and people also blaring music from their vehi...
I bought the US 1641 about four years ago, but I have since switched to a Pro Tools based system with a different audio interface. The reason I switched had nothing to do with this unit, as I think this is better than the audio interface I have now - a Digidesign Digi 002 rack version. The reason I switched was simply because I need to run Pro T...
The Tascam MS16 is a 1" 16 track tape machine. I'm not sure the exact years that this was in production, but I think it was made in the early 1990's. I only recently got the chance to use the MS-16 as I'm working with a new producer and he has this in his studio. We used it to record drums only on and then bounced it into Pro Tools, which is ...
If you are looking for a quick, easy, and cheap way to record your music, at CD quality, fast then check out this unit .It's a great machine, and eight tracks gives me more than enough to lay down two or three voices and still have room for five instruments. The downside or thing that I dislike about the Tascam DP 02cf is that the navigation is ...
I use the Tascam DP 01 FX digital recorder for everything. It is extremely easy to operate and all the mixing can be done on the recorder or the tracks can be exported to other software for further mixing. A great deal for the price. I was able to understand and use this product the first day I got it. Great for beginners and great for more expe...
If you are looking to make great recordings and have a low budget I would highly recommend the tascam port studio 2488 to anyone wanting to get into analog mixing and recording. Unit also isn’t that heavy so you can take it around with your if you need it to be mobile.
I like the US 800. I always say cough up a bit more for the 1800, but for what it is the 800 is a great choice for anyone looking to get started.
I love this interface for what it is. I has a couple of silly limitations like the lack of separate knobs for headphones and line outputs, and the strange driver issue on 64 bit systems. The truth is, while this is a good unit in its own right, I cannot really recommend it to anyone for these annoying problems!
