The Roland RH A7 headphones I purchased a while back when I was in search of a cheaper pair of studio headphones. I didn’t purchase them to really master my music in just more to listen to my music in while creating it because recording and mixing at home I cant play the music outloud on my monitors much because of my family and I don’t want to ...
To my ears this is the best pair of headphones I have ever used. You can absolutely mix with these. They are not audiophile phones in any way. Try mixing something with these and compare with a mix from your normal set up. You will probably be quite surprised. At $150.00 there is nothing better.
Easily the most comfortable headphones i've ever used. They sound decent out of the box, but there is a recommended 30+ hour break-in period that truly does open them up. They would not be the first cans I'd grab for a tracking session, but they are great for a mixing reference. Additionally, they are fun just for music listening. The added stan...
I was comparing these to a pair of Shure SRH440's and AKG K240 Studios and these came in dead last. While they weren't awful or even exceptionally bad I feel they weren't even in the running compared to the AKG's. The high end on these was ice picky so I couldn't wear them too long without ear fatigue. The low end was flubbier so at higher volum...
I own these along with AKG K240 Studios. I first bought the K240's over these for the comfort along with the sound quality. While these sound very good they just don't match the clarity and smoothness of the semi open back AKG's. These are fully closed back so give you a sorta pressured feeling. The speakers are pumping towards your head wit...
AKG K240 Studio headphones, semi open back, detachable cord, very flat response. When I bought these I brought my ipod into Guitar Center. I sat down with 3 pair to pick out my favorite. Among these were Shure SRH44's, Sennheiser HD280s, Audio Technica ATH-M50's and a few others. Prices ranged from $100 to 200, open back to semi open to fully c...
The AKG K 701 headphones are really comfortable to wear. They fit very nicely around the ear and don’t irritate you after you have them on for a few hours. There arent bright and colorful like some of its competitors but it still provides a better than average sound quality for whatever you need them to do for you. You can listen to your ipod wi...
The Moster Headphones pro HD black are a set of headphones that I have used to listen to a lot of different music in. they provide a nice warm sound and a nice base as well. The base in them (which is what everyone wants) is pretty decent. Not the best on the market but still good. They are great just to use for listening pleasure. I even do som...
The Behringer HPX2000 headphones will bump pretty good around your ears. They are really good with those low frequencies. Seems like they have an automatic bass boost to them though, but not that real muddy bass that we all hate that sounds distorted. They produce more of a clean bass that doesn’t distort and sounds more the way the original pro...
