I don't give these out much, but this instrument gets a perfect ten all around, as it is hard to imagine another guitar doing what this one does only better. There might be some that are about equal in performance, such as a good D-28, but I can't think of any dreadnought style guitars that exceed this one. It looks great, feels very nice, plays...
Great guitar for the price. Martin guitars are always top notch. Though again, it's mainly just a big difference between rosewood and mahogany and you have to be able to play them both side by side to hear the difference so you know what you're getting into. There's no modifying the tone on acoustic guitars (except different strings) so you shou...
HUGE sound. Legendary guitar. Awesome build, ALWAYS consistent from model to model and lifetime warranty with Martin. Can't really complain can ya? If you're looking for an acoustic guitar that'll probably last longer than your own lifetime, with a great huge warm and BIG low midrange, this is definitely worth looking into. Yes it's a bit pricey...
You can find this seat of Taylor guitars for right around $3000. That's a pretty expensive price for acoustic guitar but this is certainly a professionals acoustic guitar. If you saved up money for long period of time and this would be to go to guitar from me or anyone looking for a professional acoustic instrument. These are an expensive acoust...
It's the original! A Martin! Known for it's warmth and I love it. I can't get enough of it! I can't play any other guitar these days since I've laid my hands on this one! It's the sound in my head and it's the sound of many records over the past century that I've become accustomed to hearing. If you're looking for an all around good dreadnought ...
For recording, I think the sound of the Guild D4 is just about as good as it gets. I always get a good sound when I record with this and it never ceases to amaze me how good this really sounds. I use it for all types of music - rock, pop, and folk as it sounds good in just about any setting. I love the sound of this guitar as it has a full body ...
Unfortunately Gibson just isn't putting out gem after gem these days. The vast majority of their acoustics I play are pretty terrible to be truthful. But truthfully this one is pretty great, and the price paid was fair. I would not dare order one of these sight unseen. You will more than likely not get a great one. From my experience, 1 out...
All in all I think the Martin D-45 is truly a sight to behold. Sure, it's VERY expensive but it's well worth it for the tonal quality. It's got beautiful craftsmanship and looks, the classic Martin feel, and a very full sound that any serious player would love. I'm fortunate to have a relative who owns one of these so I do get a chance to play o...
Overall, this is a great guitar for the money. They can still be found for dirt cheap because the Sigma name never got that much recognition. Martin makes great guitars in the USA and Mexico now, but back in the day, their Japanese imports were great quality as well. The DM5 plays, sounds, and looks just as nice as a lot of mid-level instruments...
I've had my Walden D 670 guitar for about six or seven years. It not only is great sounding, but its small size makes it easy to bring around and be ready for action at any moment. It has a nice overall feel if your fingers are small enough and is very well built for the price. I haven't played or even seen any other acoustic guitars at 3/4 size...
