This is a really neat idea from Epiphone. I like that John Lennon played something very similar to this - that helps on the cool factor. I'd like to play the Gibson equivalent and compare the timbre. But this Epiphone is a good instrument capable of producing fresh, interesting tones. Recommended to anyone that plays acoustic and wants to experi...
This is a wonderful instrument. The luthiers at Taylor have come up with a nice all-around guitar that is equally at home strumming, picking, shredding, or being gently tickled. It is a highly responsive axe that is sure to satisfy even the pickiest player. Being on the pricey side, it can put a serious dent in the wallet, but it is not priced i...
At new you can find guitars for right at about $1900. That's a pretty good price for this guitar and you can certainly them into you lowering the price in many instances. I actually bought mine for right around $1300 or $1400 new about 10 years ago so you can wiggle the price down a little bit. This is a great guitar and I love the sound and loo...
If you find a tailor 314 CE series new phone right around $1600. That's a pretty expensive price for a tasty guitar for most musicians but if you're wanting to step up to a nice solid acoustic tone then this is the best and first option that I would go with as far is Taylor guitars come. The 100 and 200 series don't really sound as good as the 3...
I think we got it out the door for 8 hundred plus tax and such. Pretty ridiculous deal if you ask me. Needed some minor truss adjustment. Nothing serious. Actually it's a great guitar in terms of build. Every bit as good as my favorite taylor, which is a 526 ltd. This guitar is a value all its own. I can't figure out how Taylor can afford...
Larrivee is making some incredible stuff here. It's up there with Martins that cost hundreds more. Sure it sounds really nice but the craftsmanship on these is pretty ridiculous. Holding it in your hands, you will get what I mean. It's a no brainer to recommend this to a finger style player but I would also say look at it if you constantly c...
I have played a few of these and they all sound really really good. There's a serious amount of detail that goes into these. It's pretty impressive to behold. As good as it looks, it isn't done justice until you get your hands on it. Sure it's a lot of cash, and Martins these days are probably marked up a lot based on the name, but this part...
I think the best thing about this guitar, and most other Taylors I have played is the sheer playability. They just feel really good. The necks are very nice. Unfortunately the GS is a bit large for me. Which is too bad because I think these are the best strummers that Taylor makes. The price point is pretty good too. The GS6 is a better ch...
What more can I say? Taylor makes fantastic guitars, and even this lower end model is a winner. Anyone that has reservations of buying a Mexican Taylor should just play one - it is a great guitar all the way around! For anyone on a budget, this might be the one, and even guitarists that have loads of money to throw around would probably dig this...
Eh. It's alright, but it isn't really a special guitar. Maybe I'm just not the intended audience, but this guitar does not do it for me. Luna Guitars has historically marketed guitars toward females, particularly young ones, and I definitely do not fit the target market demographic there. But I'd be ok with this guitar if it played well or sound...
